The massage and spa treatments offered at Royal Crown Spa are wellness services, not medical or clinical treatments. They are not a replacement for diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a licensed physician, physiotherapist, or other qualified healthcare provider. If you have a medical concern, please consult a doctor before booking a session.

Role of Our Therapists

Our therapists are trained and certified in massage therapy techniques. They are not licensed physicians, nurses, or medical practitioners, and are not qualified to diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatment, or interpret symptoms. Any comfort, guidance, or wellness suggestions offered during your visit are general in nature and should not be treated as medical opinion.

Health Conditions & Contraindications

Certain health conditions may make massage unsuitable, or may require a doctor's clearance beforehand. Please inform our reception team, and consult your physician if you are unsure, before your session if you have any of the following:

  • Pregnancy, or a high-risk pregnancy
  • Heart conditions, high or low blood pressure, or a history of blood clots
  • Recent surgery, fractures, sprains, or open wounds
  • Infectious or contagious skin conditions
  • Diabetes with reduced sensation in the limbs
  • Cancer under active treatment, or a condition requiring oncology clearance
  • Any condition where deep pressure or heat is medically restricted

Client Disclosure Responsibility

You are responsible for informing our team, honestly and in advance, of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or concerns that may affect your treatment. Withholding relevant health information may increase the risk of discomfort or injury during your session, and Royal Crown Spa cannot be held responsible for outcomes arising from undisclosed conditions.

Allergies & Product Sensitivity

We use oils, creams, and aromatic products during treatments. If you have known allergies or sensitive skin, please tell our staff before your session begins so that suitable products can be used, or a patch test can be arranged where possible.

No Guarantee of Results

While our therapists work with care and skill, individual results from massage therapy vary from person to person. Royal Crown Spa does not guarantee any specific health outcome, pain relief, or therapeutic result from any treatment.

Right to Refuse or Modify Service

Our staff reserve the right to decline, pause, or adapt a treatment if a client discloses a condition that our therapists are not qualified to safely work with, or if continuing the session appears unsafe for the client's wellbeing.

Emergency Situations

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, do not wait — seek immediate help.

Call UAE Emergency Services at 998 (Ambulance) or 999 (Police), or visit the nearest hospital. Our team is glad to assist in contacting help, but our staff are not trained to provide emergency medical treatment.

Limitation of Liability

By booking a treatment with Royal Crown Spa, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Medical Disclaimer. To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Royal Crown Spa, its owners, and its staff are not liable for any injury, adverse reaction, or health complication arising from a treatment where relevant medical information was not disclosed, or where a client proceeded against the advice of our staff or their own physician.
